Pollard Banknote first collaborated with Totalizator Sportowy in 2007. Since then, the Lottery has seen over 360% growth in total instant sales. The most recent success was the 5 złoty game Ekstra Pensja, launched in March 2012. This ticket, which uses Pollard Banknote’s exclusive Scratch FX® technology, achieved 10‐week average sales of 1.66 złoty million compared to the previously launched 5 złoty game of 627,542 złoty —accounting for a 164% difference and has resulted in a number of new 5 złoty games launching in 2013.
“Pollard Banknote is excited to continue working with Totalizator Sportowy,” said Doug Pollard, Co‐Chief Executive Officer. “This contract allows us to continue the momentum we have built to date. The trust we have developed with the Lottery, through licensed games and value‐added products such as Scratch FX® and translucent latex, demonstrates their confidence in our partnership.”
"We have enjoyed working with Pollard Banknote as the primary supplier of our instant tickets. They have provided insight, support, and an exceptional product that have all translated into growth for our lottery," said Wojciech Szpil, President of the Management Board for Totalizator Sportowy.
"We look forward to building and growing for years to come.” Totalizator Sportowy Spólka z.o.o. was established in 1955 as Poland's national lottery.
