Lapis Software Associates announces the sale of gemTrust™

September 19, 2012 – Lapis Software Associates, LLC announced the sale of its gemTrust™ product line to Spectra Systems Corporation. gemTrust is a software product that provides lotteries with internal control systems, commonly referred to as “ICS” for balancing sales and drawn numbers for online lottery games prior to drawings.

Lapis recently announced the introduction of a gemIntelligence™ a suite of applications for lottery sales force automation and retailer information. gemIntelligence offers lotteries and their retail enterprise a suite of office and mobile software applications for retailers and the lottery employees who support them. gemIntelligence combines a retail portal customized for direct access by retailers and tools for lottery employees to improve the delivery and consumption of the same information wherever and whenever lottery reps need it. The Pennsylvania Lottery is implementing gemIntelligence to support over 9000 retailers and 100 field based representatives.
