Is This Site for You?

This web site is dedicated to the women and men who operate the world's 200+ legal state operated lotteries. We have spent a career researching, writing and reporting on the global lottery industry.

There is little information that the average lottery player would find of value. The statistics we collect are by and large countable numbers audited by professionals collected and published by us. We primarily track information on lottery sales, prizes and net profit to government, advertising budgets and game design--both for TLF Publications' annual books (such as La Fleur's World Lottery Almanac) and our monthly magazine (La Fleur's Magazine).

Maryland Lottery and Baltimore Ravens Renew Partnership

(Baltimore) –The Board of Public Works today approved the Ravens Cash Fantasy ticket, which will offer more than $11 million in instant cash prizes, including five opportunities to win $250,000.

As in previous years, the ticket will feature a second-chance promotion, which includes a $1 million cash prize as well as experiential prizes such as season tickets for life (20 years), season tickets for one season, game-day tickets, away trips with the team and other prizes.  Players will be able to go to the website at mdlottery.com/ravens and enter the special code on the perforated portion of the Ravens Cash Fantasy scratch-off.  Last year, more than 71,000 players registered online for the second-chance promotion.

Ravens Cash Fantasy is expected to be released in early August.  The ticket will be sold at every Baltimore Ravens home game and will be available at the more than 4,200 Maryland Lottery retail locations across the state.

"We look forward to partnering with the Baltimore Ravens for the fourth year in a row," said Maryland Lottery Director Stephen Martino.  "We expect this year’s Ravens Cash Fantasy scratch-off to be just as popular with Lottery players and Ravens fans as it has been in past years.”

Since its inception in 1973, the Maryland Lottery has awarded more than $18.73 billion in prizes to players and $12.2 billion in revenue to the State of Maryland. One of Maryland’s largest revenue sources, the Lottery supports important state programs and services including education, public safety and health, human resources and the environment.
