Is This Site for You?

This web site is dedicated to the women and men who operate the world's 200+ legal state operated lotteries. We have spent a career researching, writing and reporting on the global lottery industry.

There is little information that the average lottery player would find of value. The statistics we collect are by and large countable numbers audited by professionals collected and published by us. We primarily track information on lottery sales, prizes and net profit to government, advertising budgets and game design--both for TLF Publications' annual books (such as La Fleur's World Lottery Almanac) and our monthly magazine (La Fleur's Magazine).

Aristocrat Licensed in Montana, Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Grand Vision Gaming

LAS VEGAS (May 14, 2012) – Aristocrat Technologies recently entered the U.S. VLT marketplace by receiving its license in South Dakota. Now the company is quickly expanding in the arena, receiving its license in Montana, and signing an exclusive distribution agreement with Grand Vision Gaming to distribute Aristocrat VLT product across the state.

Grand Vision Gaming (GVG), a manufacturer of video gaming devices headquartered in Billings, Mont., will distribute Aristocrat’s Player’s World™ Reels, a product that is exclusive to the Montana market.

The unique arrangement between the two suppliers gives Aristocrat access to GVG’s extensive network of strong, established relationships developed by GVG over the past several years.

Aristocrat Americas COO Seamus McGill said, “We are thrilled to be so quickly capitalizing on our entry into the U.S. VLT market, and we are very happy with this new agreement with Grand Vision Gaming. GVG has been a dynamic force in the Montana marketplace, and we are confident the partnership will be tremendous for both parties.”

According to Tim Carson, one of GVG’s four partners and a 33-year industry veteran, GVG and its affiliates are a powerhouse in the Montana market with more than 32 percent ownership of the state’s 16,000-plus licensed machines. “GVG is thrilled about this innovative partnership with Aristocrat,” Carson said. “Together, we are an undeniable force in the Montana gaming market, and we look forward to working closely with one of the world’s leading gaming companies.”

Player’s World Reels features six themes, including the award-winning Buffalo™, recently named Best Slot Game in the 2012 Goldman Sachs Slot Managers Survey. Player’s World Reels utilizes Aristocrat’s Easy Play Interface, which allows players to select their game of choice on screen with the option of changing games whenever they wish.
