GTECH Corporation Executes Exclusive License and Representation Agreement with Caesars Entertainment Operating Company for Rights to Licensed Content `
Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:24AM PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND (USA) – (December 20, 2012) – GTECH Corporation announced that it has signed an exclusive, multi-year License and Representation Agreement with Caesars Entertainment Operating Company Inc. (“CEOC”). In 2008, GTECH executed a four-year License and Representation Agreement to exclusively offer the World Series Of Poker®, Caesars® and Harrah’s® brands to the lottery industry for use with certain lottery games. GTECH has now finalized a new four-year agreement granting GTECH continuing exclusive rights to offer the Caesars and Harrah’s brands to the lottery industry for use with certain lottery games and adding the Flamingo®, Paris Las Vegas®, Rio®, and Horseshoe® brands to the rights licensed. The rights to the World Series of Poker brand have also been extended under a separate agreement. CEOC is a subsidiary of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, the world’s largest gaming company.

These brands will add a tremendous amount of value to instant tickets. With casino operations in 14 states, Caesars offers lotteries the chance to deliver these experiential prizes both locally, or on a larger level with the properties in resort cities such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, and New Orleans. A portfolio of assets from these brands is available for lotteries to develop recognizable, iconic instant-ticket designs.
