Is This Site for You?

This web site is dedicated to the women and men who operate the world's 200+ legal state operated lotteries. We have spent a career researching, writing and reporting on the global lottery industry.

There is little information that the average lottery player would find of value. The statistics we collect are by and large countable numbers audited by professionals collected and published by us. We primarily track information on lottery sales, prizes and net profit to government, advertising budgets and game design--both for TLF Publications' annual books (such as La Fleur's World Lottery Almanac) and our monthly magazine (La Fleur's Magazine).

INTRALOT’S Christos Dimitriadis Appointed to the European Network and Information Security Agency’s Permanent Stakeholders’ Group

Christos K. Dimitriadis, Ph.D., CISA, CISM, CRISC, Head of Information Security of INTRALOT Group and International Vice President of ISACA, was appointed to be one of the 30 top IT-security experts who have started their term of office as members of the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) Permanent Stakeholders’ Group (PSG). The PSG will give top IT security advice to the EU’s ‘cyber security’ Agency ENISA, the European Network and Information Security Agency. The PSG is a group of leading IT-security experts that gives advice to the Agency’s Executive Director in, for example, drawing up a proposal for the Agency's annual Work Programme.

The selected applicants are appointed personally, ‘ad personam’ as PSG Members. That means that they neither represent a country, nor a company, but are selected upon the basis of their own specific expertise and personal merits. The term of office for the members is 2.5 years, i.e. 2012-2015. A list of the appointed members can be downloaded from here: https://www.enisa.europa.eu/about-enisa/structure-organization/psg/members

The Executive Director of ENISA, Prof. Udo Helmbrecht, comments: “I am delighted to be able to announce the appointment of 30 dedicated top cyber security advisors as members of this new PSG. The information security of Europe needs more cooperation, dialogue and interaction with all the security stakeholders. The PSG therefore plays a crucial role in this respect, giving us cutting-edge input from EU industry, academia and consumers. I am thus looking forward to working closely with the entire new PSG. I am confident that their individual expertise will contribute with valuable insights and ideas to the Agency. As Chair of the PSG, I will closely involve them in ENISA’s future work, and I will in particular value their advice on the Agency’s Work Programme.”
