| Historical Sales analyzes individual lotteries’ historical game sales the United States, Canada and Australia.The first set of tables track each U.S. lottery’s total ticket sales, prize payments and government profits between fiscal 1970 to present. Sales for each year is totaled to provide the percentage increase by year for the industry.The second set of tables track the U.S. lotteries’ individual game sales by year from fiscal 1980 to present for the instant game, pulltab, 3-digit numbers game, 4-digit numbers game, lotto (all games), Powerball, Tri-State Megabucks and keno. In addition, each U.S. lottery’s VLT handle, VLT net machine income and VLT state profit is provided (where available) from fiscal 1990 through to present.The third set of tables track the ticket sales and prize payments between fiscal 1989 to present for the Australian and Canadian lotteries. Sales for each year is totaled to provide the percentage increase by year for the industry.The final set of tables track the individual game sales by year from fiscal 1989 through to present for the instant game, pulltab, numbers game, lotto (all games) and keno for the Australian and Canadian lotteries. |
