The Contractor Survey analyzes individual U.S. lotteries’ vendor contracts for instant ticket and online systems, including the estimated monetary value of the contract, the start and finish dates of the current contract and the option for contract renewal (by year).
Many of the U.S. lotteries failed to report monetary contract values or supplied outdated information on contracts that did not reflect recent contract extensions. As a result, the editors also contacted individual vendors to supply the specifics on their client contracts and to verify monetary values. It should be noted that the monetary values for contracts are estimated since it is impossible to precisely project future sales.
